QUALITY CONFIRMATION

Quality starts with an approved reference.

We connect your approved sample with material, packaging, production and finished-pack checks. Batch records and retained samples support quality enquiries and repeat orders.

Define the approved reference

We use an approved sample and written specification as the reference for your production order. Together, we identify the scent or formula, carrier, concentration direction where relevant, application, sample code and version. We keep your approval and specific feedback connected to that reference.

Record the product and pack combination clearly: for example, “Version B approved for the alcohol-based perfume, with the agreed bottle and net fill.” A change to the base, fragrance level or components is reviewed against the existing reference. The sample evaluation guide helps your team organise observations before approval.

Agree which checks the project requires

Our quality control covers incoming raw materials and packaging, first-piece and in-process confirmation, semi-finished and finished-product checks, and batch traceability. We agree the relevant inspection criteria and any additional testing for your formula, pack and intended use.

Area What we check or establish with the project
Raw materials Identity, incoming condition and the applicable material specification
Scent and appearance Comparison with the approved reference, including the agreed appearance and clarity
Fill and quantity Net fill, batch quantity and the acceptance approach for the order
Container and dispensing Component version, bottle/dispenser fit and intended spray or applicator function
Seal and handling Closure integrity, sealing and packaging checks appropriate to the pack
Further product testing Stability, compatibility, safety or performance work needed for the application and destination, with an agreed method and responsible party

Our wider cosmetics quality work includes sensory and physicochemical checks, microbiological testing and relevant contaminant assessments. We match the test plan to the actual product: the needs of a perfume, an aqueous mist and a cream differ. Your quotation and specification identify the inspections, additional tests and supporting records included for the order.

Check the product and pack together

We inspect incoming packaging and review the product with its intended container and dispensing system. The bottle material and neck, pump or applicator, seal, cap, decoration and label contribute to the finished result. We check component versions and assembly against the approved specification rather than relying only on nominal bottle volume.

For a finished perfume, discuss spray feel, output, closure, leakage concerns and decoration durability when selecting the pack. For a bulk-liquid order, agree the receiving container, identification and filling requirements with us. Packaging planning sets out the component and artwork inputs.

When a pack or formula changes, we review the combination and the checks it needs before it becomes the new production reference. This keeps a preferred scent, a visually approved bottle and the assembled product aligned.

Keep product and batch references clear

We keep batch production records and connect the approved sample, formula and component versions with the production order. We retain samples of each batch for three and a half years to support traceability, quality enquiries and repeat-order comparison. Batch identification helps our team locate the right records when you ask about a particular shipment.

If you notice a concern, send the product and batch reference, the observation, the affected quantity and useful photos or samples. We compare the issue with the agreed specification and relevant records, then discuss the next action with you. A clear description of the condition and when it appeared helps focus the review.

For repeat orders, tell us about changes in packaging, target market, storage or intended use. We review whether the existing approved reference remains suitable. The production process shows where approvals and changes fit.

Connect the approval with the batch record

Use the chain below to review which references belong to your order. The record links a customer’s approval to the production specification and the checks recorded for that batch.

Reference Information to connect
Approved sample Sample identifier, version, intended application, approved characteristics and dated approval
Production specification Formula or carrier reference, net fill, component versions, artwork and agreed checks
First pieces and process checks The specification used, check points and the related inspection record or result
Batch and handover Batch identifier, product version, quantities and the agreed release or document references
Retained sample The batch and retained-sample reference used for later comparison or a quality enquiry

This is a blank review checklist, not a completed inspection or test report. Fill it using the actual project references and records. Our three-and-a-half-year batch retention supports later review; the agreed inspection and document scope remains attached to the product and order.

Confirm documentation and responsibilities

We provide manufacturing and quality information for your purchasing review and agree the product-specific records needed for the order. Company certification, a batch record and a product test report have different scopes; each file should identify the relevant company, product, version or batch.

Our testing experience includes third-party safety and efficacy work for CH Proxylane Firming Cream and repair-efficacy evaluation of a Proxylane raw-material sample. These examples show how we organise testing for specific development questions. For your perfume or scented care product, we define the required checks and reports against its own formula, application and market.

Send your requested certificate, report or specification with the product, packaging and destination. Documentation helps you request the right pack, and our team can discuss the inspection scope, additional testing and any customer or specialist responsibilities before production.
