PERFUME FORMATS

Choose the perfume base for your brand.

We manufacture alcohol-based, alcohol-free and oil-based perfume. Compare carrier, application, packaging and samples before choosing your brand's format.

Compare three perfume formats

We develop and manufacture alcohol-based, alcohol-free and oil-based perfume for overseas brands. The carrier changes application, scent release, feel and packaging choices, so we compare samples in the format you intend to sell. Start with your customer, use occasion and preferred dispensing experience.

Format Main specification decision Pack and sampling focus
Alcohol-based perfume Carrier, scent and concentration direction Spray, bottle and closure compatibility; opening through dry-down
Alcohol-free perfume The intended non-alcohol carrier and use Application, appearance and feel in the actual base
Oil-based finished perfume Oil-base feel and scent character Dispensing, pickup, leakage and product-pack fit

Alcohol-free is a formulation direction; oil-based describes a particular finished-product route. State the carrier requirements precisely instead of relying on either term to settle every specification.

Alcohol-based perfume

For an alcohol-based project, send the scent direction or approved reference, target market, desired application and packaging concept. Fravanta can discuss 20%, 25% and 30% concentration directions for perfume, with the actual formula evaluated through samples. Compare scent balance and wear experience alongside concentration and cost.

Specify the fill volume, bottle and dispensing requirements early. A finished-product brief and a bulk-liquid brief involve different packaging and filling responsibilities. Explore alcohol-based perfume or bulk ready-to-fill supply.

Alcohol-free perfume

If excluding alcohol is essential to your brand brief, state the exact requirement and why it matters to the intended product. The replacement base, appearance, scent release, application feel and dispensing system need their own discussion. Evaluate these together in the development sample.

Alcohol-free does not automatically mean natural, halal or certified for a particular claim. Any requested claim or market requirement needs product-specific review. Plan an alcohol-free perfume with a clear carrier and claims brief.

Oil-based finished perfume

An oil-based perfume is a finished perfume application, not pure fragrance concentrate for further dilution. Describe the intended use, skin feel and method of application, and identify whether you envisage a roll-on, dab application or another dispensing format for review.

The oil base, fragrance and selected pack need evaluation as a system. A fragrance preferred in an alcohol base is not automatically the same experience in oil. Explore oil-based perfume and include the reference and qualities you want to preserve.

Specify your perfume project

Send the format, scent route, target market, quantity per scent, intended fill size and packaging direction. The usual perfume minimum is 30 kg of liquid per scent; bottle count needs actual fill and density assumptions, while packaging can have separate minimums. Check quantity planning.

Decide whether the project needs bulk liquid, filling into agreed components, or a finished branded product. Use concentration guidance to prepare sample comparisons, then request a perfume project discussion.
