Define the body-cleansing product
We develop and manufacture scented body wash for a cleansing and rinse-off routine. Our team brings the wash base, lather, rinse feel and fragrance together, then matches the product flow to its bottle, cap or pump.
Define the target customer, market and intended use, then describe the desired appearance and flow. A product for an everyday shower routine may have a different pack and sensory brief from a richer ritual-led range. Fravanta can discuss private label or OEM/ODM development around these inputs, including the formulation and branded supply responsibilities required by your project.
Shape the scent in the intended application
Explain how you want the fragrance to feel in the bottle, during use and after rinsing. A scent family is a useful starting point, but specific feedback about the opening, sweetness or woody finish helps turn it into a development target. If the body wash will share a fragrance identity with a perfume, body mist or body oil, identify the elements that should connect them.
Each base needs its own application sample. Fragrance intensity and the consumer’s rinse-off routine affect the experience; a concentration or longevity statement from a perfume should not become the specification for body wash. An emotional concept can shape the brand story without asserting a proven health or mood effect.
Prepare the body-wash specification
| Decision | Include in your request |
|---|---|
| Formula direction | Texture, viscosity or flow reference, appearance and scent |
| Fill | Target net fill and unit, number of variants and estimated units |
| Dispensing | Bottle opening or pump proposal, desired dose and closure |
| Components | Material, dimensions, sealing and decoration requirements |
| Supply scope | Liquid, filling, assembly, labels, outer pack and sourcing split |
The pump or opening must be reviewed against the actual product. Pack availability, compatibility and component minimums are confirmed with the specification. The packaging page explains how a complete project can be divided between the buyer and manufacturer.
Tell us whether the desired presentation is a flowing shower gel, a richer wash or a pump-led format. The formula flow and the dispenser need to work together, so we review dispensing and closure with the actual base. Compare fragrance in the bottle, during lathering and after rinsing, particularly when the product is meant to share a perfume’s identity.
Approve formula, pack and order scope
Evaluate the identified application sample under the agreed instructions, with notes for fragrance, use, texture and dispensing. Keep the accepted version and reference clearly recorded. A fragrance preference alone is not approval of the whole body-wash formula or its packaging.
Before production, agree the formula and pack versions, quantities by variant, requested checks, market information, labelling inputs and delivery responsibilities. Body-wash formula and component minimums are project-specific; perfume concentration directions and liquid minimums do not set this category’s order rules. Sample costs, revisions and production timing are confirmed with the scope.

Request a project discussion with the audience, market, texture reference, scent direction, fill size and estimated quantity. For a matching range, list its companion products so the fragrance development brief can express the common scent identity and the differences between applications.
