Start by confirming the home-fragrance format
We develop home-fragrance projects around the exact format and release method you need. Tell us whether the brief is for a room spray, a reed format, a candle, a car product or another proposed application. Our team reviews the base, container, release system and manufacturing scope for that product.
This first decision allows the formula, pack, evaluation and delivery conversation to address the same product. Share an example of the intended use and the elements you want to customise. Private label or OEM/ODM scope can then be defined around the agreed format.
Describe the space and use conditions
A home scent is experienced in a space, so the brief should go beyond a list of perfume notes. Describe the kind of setting, the desired atmosphere, expected use conditions and target market. For example, “a restrained woody atmosphere for a small home living area” is more actionable than “strong luxury scent.”
| Input | Why it helps development |
|---|---|
| Setting | Home room, hospitality setting or another specific intended space |
| Use conditions | How, where and how often the proposed product will be used |
| Scent goal | Character, intensity relative to a reference and disliked directions |
| Format | Intended release method and the consumer handling involved |
| Market | Destination, label language and information requirements to review |
These inputs guide a project; they do not establish a guaranteed room coverage or diffusion duration. The evaluation method should reflect the actual format and setting.
Develop the base and packaging together
The carrier or base, release method and container need to be considered as one system. Specify the proposed material, fill, opening or dispensing parts, closure and seal, alongside decoration and outer packaging. For a reference product, identify which parts are essential and which can change.
Availability, compatibility, checks and supply responsibilities are confirmed for the chosen format. A scent direction from the fragrance library is a starting point, with its suitability reviewed in the home-fragrance application. Product information and shipping preparation also depend on the actual formula, quantity, pack and destination.
Evaluate the agreed format
Record the sample version, product format, use setting and evaluation conditions. Compare the fragrance impression with the brief, then note handling, container or closure feedback separately. Where a performance target matters, agree how it will be assessed and what result will constitute acceptance.
The production discussion should reference the accepted product and packaging versions, requested documentation, manufacturer and buyer responsibilities, and order quantity. Minimums for the home-fragrance formula and components are confirmed for the actual project; a perfume liquid minimum is not a blanket rule. Development and delivery schedules follow that agreed scope.
For a spray, compare the spray pattern, airborne scent impression and how the pack is used and closed. For a reed-style request, include the vessel, closure and reed or release-system specification in the sample plan. Describe the room or enclosed-space size, ventilation and use pattern so feedback refers to a defined setting rather than a general request for more strength.
Prepare a home-fragrance enquiry
Discuss your proposed format with the use setting, target market, scent direction, packaging concept and estimated quantity. If the format is still open, say which consumer experience you are trying to create so that the first conversation can resolve a useful product direction.
