Define the serum base and use
We develop and manufacture scented serum around its intended care application, base and controlled dose. Share the target user and market, texture reference, ingredient goals and how the serum fits the routine so our team can shape the formula and fragrance together.
Fravanta can discuss scented serum within a private label or OEM/ODM project. Bring an existing base specification, a product reference or an initial concept, and explain which parts are fixed and which you want developed. This is a personal-care formulation conversation, distinct from a perfume with a light texture.
Set appropriate fragrance goals
Describe how noticeable you want the scent to be, the direction you like and the characteristics you want to avoid. A restrained fragrance may be a useful brand goal, but the actual intensity and suitability must be reviewed with the chosen base and use. A scent used elsewhere in your range is a development reference, with its application assessed separately.
Evaluate the serum’s base odour, fragrance and use experience together while recording each as a separate feedback item. This makes it possible to preserve the right texture while revising the scent, or to recognise that an unwanted impression comes from the base rather than the fragrance.
Separate product claims from scent
| Requirement | What the project needs to establish |
|---|---|
| Ingredients | Proposed ingredients or exclusions and the final formula scope |
| Product claims | The exact consumer-facing statements you want to make |
| Evidence | Which assessments or documents are required for those statements |
| Market | Destination, intended use and information for the label review |
We define hydration, anti-ageing, sensitive-skin or other proposed claims alongside the ingredient and efficacy programme they need. Your sample and formula version stay linked to the agreed safety, compatibility and supporting-information plan. The documentation page explains how to request product-specific information.
Agree packaging and approval
Set the net fill, container material, outlet or dosing format, closure and seal. A dropper, pump or another proposed format is an input to assess against the actual serum; availability and compatibility are confirmed for the project. Add decoration, label language, artwork version and any outer pack.
Record the accepted sample and revision, base, fragrance, application feedback, pack version and outstanding conditions. Formula and component minimums are agreed for the serum project. Confirm quantities, requested documents, filling and assembly responsibilities, delivery scope and timing when asking for the quotation.
For a fluid serum, compare the dropper or pump dose, spreading, absorption and any tacky residue with the actual base. A fragrance revision is reviewed alongside appearance and formula stability needs, while ingredient and claim work follows the intended facial or body application. Keep the accepted base, fragrance and dispensing version connected in the approval record.
Discuss a scented serum project
Send your serum development brief with the intended use, market, base or texture reference, fragrance goal, desired claims, packaging and estimated quantity. Mark open decisions as open so the first project discussion can resolve them without inventing a specification.
