Set the conditioner product brief
We develop and manufacture scented conditioner as a distinct hair-care product. Define the rinse-off or other intended use, customer, market and texture reference so our team can work on spreading, slip, rinse feel and the scent in the conditioning base.
Fravanta can work on private label or OEM/ODM scented conditioner projects with a defined base, fragrance and pack scope. Desired application, spreading and rinsing characteristics belong in the product brief; they should not be assumed from a fragrance description. Treatment, repair or other efficacy claims need their own project discussion and substantiation scope.
Coordinate the scent across hair care
A common scent identity can connect the conditioner to shampoo and hair fragrance. Describe which notes, character or emotional direction should be recognisable in all three. You might want the same soft floral identity while asking for a different level of scent presence in each product.
The conditioner base and intended use are evaluated separately. Approval in the shampoo does not establish compatibility or identical behaviour in the conditioner. Keep a sample and feedback record for each base, and compare the range both product by product and as a collection.
Confirm dispensing and packaging
| Pack question | Detail to agree |
|---|---|
| How does it flow? | Texture or viscosity reference for the dispensing discussion |
| How is it applied? | Intended amount and opening, pump or other proposed outlet |
| What is the fill? | Net fill and unit, container capacity and variant quantities |
| How does it close? | Neck or interface, closure, cap and seal |
| How is it branded? | Decoration, label languages, artwork and outer packaging |
The selected outlet must suit the actual product. Confirm component sourcing, availability, minimums, compatibility and filling responsibilities alongside the formula. A packaging brief can be adapted to collect the relevant component and artwork details.
Evaluate and approve the conditioner sample
Evaluate according to the agreed application instructions. Record the sample version, reference, fragrance impression, product use and packaging observations. Separate the target from the observation: “the floral character is right; the application feels heavier than our reference” tells the team which part of the next revision should change.
Approval should identify the formula, scent, fill, pack and artwork versions, plus outstanding checks or information. Confirm requested claims, market documents, quantity and delivery scope with the project. Conditioner formula and component minimums are set for this category and pack; sample arrangements and timing are also agreed individually.
In your agreed use comparison, separate spreading and slip from rinse feel, residual weight and fragrance. Record the hair condition and amount used so a richer feel is not confused with a scent problem. Our formulation review uses those observations to decide whether the next revision concerns the base, fragrance balance or dispensing system.
Discuss a scented hair-care range
Send your conditioner project with the use format, market, desired texture, scent direction and proposed quantity. If it accompanies an existing shampoo or perfume, explain the shared scent features and provide the relevant product reference for the sample discussion.
